hawachekani! Wakati Sitti akiwa kwenye kitimoto kwa kudanganya umri
wake, waganda wamewakaba koo waandaji wa shindano lao kuwa Leah ni mbaya
na hakufaa kuwa Miss Uganda.
“Miss Uganda World is your theme Beauty with a purpose or Ugly with a purpose?” Mganda mmoja aliwauliza waandaji wa Miss Uganda World kwenye Facebook. “Museveni is always embarrassing Besigye, now he declared him Miss Uganda,” alisema mganda mwingine kwenye Twitter.
“And so this Miss Uganda winner, I have been told super heroes are rarely attractive. I hope she can cure cancer.”
“United States is about to Invade Miss Uganda, she looks like Oil.”

take on miss Uganda is that I have no problem with her since I did not
take part in the process of choosing her at any one time.i don’t
understand why Ugandans r complaining yet they did not put in time to
attend the events that led to that choice so let’s respect the choice
that was made by the few who had time and interest to be there.

Leah
aliyekuwa mkulima wa uyoga na mfugaji wa kuku aliteuliwa kuwa Miss
Uganda 2014 kufuatia mabadiliko katika shindano hilo ambalo kwa sasa
linafanya kampeni kuhusu kilimo. Leah Kalanguka, 23, aliwashinda warembo
wengine 19 kwenye fainali hizo ambapo washiriki walitakiwa kukamua
ng’ombe na kufanya kazi na kondoo na mbuzi.
Waandaji
wa shindano hilo walishirikiana na jeshi la Uganda kulifanikisha na
lengo lake ni kupromote ujasiriamali katika ufugaji kwa vijana. Katika
shindano hilo, warembo waliulizwa maswali kuhusu kilimo. Kalanguka pia
amesoma computer engineering and science katika chuo kikuu cha Makerere.
